HK Audio expands Support Team
Vicente Rios Silvestre has become the latest addition to HK Audio’s knowledgeable support team. He has been brought on board to be the go-to contact for the manufacturers Spanish-speaking users, bringing tailored support and bridging language and cultural gaps to ensure smooth communication. Vicente is an experienced FOH engineer, tour manager, and producer. His journey into the audio industry began with the pulse of the tambores panameños and the joy of seeing rhythm bring people together. From experimenting in his home studio in Panama to earning a Sound Engineering degree at DuocUC in Santiago, Chile, he has spent the last 23 years shaping sound and helping artists tell their stories with clarity, power, and heart.
Over his varied career, Vicente has worked with a variety of musical icons. His credits include touring with legends like Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci, Brian Blade and Gilberto Santa Rosa. He has also collaborated with orchestras from London to Wroclaw and produced award-winning tracks like “Viene de Panamá,” a Latin Grammy nominee, and Viña del Mar winner.
As a native Spanish speaker with deep roots in the Latin American music scene, Vicente will bring hands-on expertise to every interaction. The new role will see him provide technical training to customers on the use and configuration of HK Audio line arrays and concert sound systems. He will also support customers during installations, both remotely and on-site to ensure the optimal performance of their system.
“I’m delighted to join HK Audio and support our extensive Spanish-speaking user base,” said Vicente. “I’m looking forward to helping to support our customers through any challenges they have and ensuring that their HK Audio systems always sound as good as they can.”
“Having someone with Vicente’s skills and experience join our team is a real benefit for HK Audio and our users,” added Christian Jordan, CSO and CMO at HK Audio. “I’m delighted to welcome him into the HK Audio family and I know he will be an important part of our ongoing expansion and success, especially in Spanish speaking regions.”
