Sennheiser Group at MPTS2025
The Sennheiser Group is returning to MPTS, the UK's premier event for the media and entertainment industry, taking place on 14-15 May at Olympia London. Visitors to Stand G73 will have the opportunity to experience Spectera, Sennheiser's revolutionary wideband, bidirectional digital wireless ecosystem, alongside a range of premium broadcast and content creation tools from Neumann and Merging Technologies.
Unveiled globally at the last year’s IBC and now officially shipping, Spectera redefines flexibility and efficiency in professional audio transmission. The system consolidates wireless microphones, in-ear monitoring (IEM), and remote control capabilities into a single RF channel, dramatically reducing spectrum use and system complexity. A single 1U Spectera Core unit can manage up to eight bidirectional channels, with intuitive web-based management and automated frequency coordination, making it ideal for dynamic and demanding production environments. The ultra-compact Spectera bodypack, shared across mic and IEM use, sets a new benchmark in versatility and sustainability.
Neumann and Merging Technologies will also have a major presence at MPTS 2025. Demonstrations will include the acclaimed KH 120 II studio monitors, NDH 20 and NDH 30 reference headphones, and the iconic U 67 condenser microphone.
Neumann’s MT 48 interface will be featured in a full production workflow alongside Merging’s cutting-edge Anubis and Hapi Mk III units, highlighting networked audio solutions tailored for today’s broadcast applications. The show also showcases Profile Wireless, a compact 2.4 GHz system designed for content creators. Building on the success of the Profile USB Microphone, this wireless variant delivers the same trusted sound quality in a flexible, cable-free format - ideal for videographers, podcasters, and solo content producers.
Visitors can also explore the SoundBase platform, the industry’s first comprehensive, manufacturer-agnostic, cloud-based platform that streamlines workflow efficiency for live sound professionals. SoundBase integrates seamlessly with equipment from all major manufacturers, providing centralised control and monitoring capabilities, enabling real-time collaboration that simplifies complex audio setups.
The Sennheiser team, including Lee Shuttlewood (Business Development Manager – Pro Audio), Kevin Gwyther-Brown (Business Development Manager - Professional Audio), Tim Constable (Sales Manager - Professional Audio), and Adrian Reid (Inside Sales Representative), will be available throughout the show to provide product demonstrations and technical guidance. Patrick Greppi will represent Neumann and Merging Technologies, offering specialised expertise on their solutions.
“We're excited to bring our latest innovations to the UK media and entertainment community at MPTS 2025,” concludes Shuttlewood. “Spectera represents a major step forward in wireless transmission systems, and we’re also thrilled to demonstrate Neumann and Merging workflows tailored for broadcast applications, while another solution - Profile Wireless microphone system - is also making its debut at the show. Most of all, we’re looking forward to engaging with our customers directly and showcasing how these solutions can enhance their productions.”
