Supercritical Redshift 6 1.4 Firmware Update

Supercritical have just released a new firmware update for the Redshift 6 and it’s available on their website. Firmware Update 1.4 introduces MPE, an arpeggiator, multi-part editing for multitimbral patches, new oscillator waveform variants, envelope reset option, and a Sample & Hold waveform for the LFO, among other improvements. There are also 18 new factory presets to showcase the arpeggiator and more. The arpeggiator is per part, so each part can have its own dedicated arpeggiator. In practice this means six independently running arpeggiators when all six multitimbral parts are in use.

• Envelopes now have a Reset parameter
• LFOs now have a Sample & Hold waveform

Improvements:

• LFO range is now 0.01-1000Hz, up from 0.1-100Hz
• 18 new factory presets
