The Vienna Symphonic Library announces the release of Synchron Brass (muted), a new Collection dedicated to the distinctive sound of straight-muted brass, alongside three all-new Single Packs: Synchron Tenor Trombone (muted), Synchron Bass Trombone (muted), and Synchron Tenor Trombone Ensemble (muted). Recorded on the large Stage A of Vienna Synchron Stage, these instruments deliver a sharp, focused, and characterful brass sound. The Synchron Brass (muted) Collection is currently available at introductory prices of €259 (reg. €329) for the Standard Library and €429 (reg. €539) for the Full Library. Standard and Full Library differ in the number of available microphone positions. To accompany the release, the Austrian company is launching an all-encompassing brass promotion with discounts of up to 45%.
Slipping a straight mute into the bell of a trumpet or trombone does far more than simply soften the instrument – it reshapes its voice entirely. Each of the three new Single Packs brings a distinct character to the muted brass family. Synchron Tenor Trombone (muted) is sharp, nasal, and full of attitude. Synchron Bass Trombone (muted) sharpens the dark voice of the low brass into something tight, snarling, and intensely focused. Synchron Tenor Trombone Ensemble (muted) unites a full section of straight-muted tenor trombones, ranging from hushed, distant harmonies to sharp, cutting stabs. All instruments were recorded on Stage A of Vienna Synchron Stage and feature the intuitive Flow View interface for effortless, expressive performances.
With the launch of Synchron Brass (muted), the Collection also becomes the new home for two previously released Single Packs: Synchron Trumpet (Bb, muted) and Synchron Trumpet Ensemble (muted) have moved over from Synchron Special Brass, bringing all of Vienna’s straight-muted brass together in one place.
Registered users of Synchron Trumpet (Bb, muted) and/or Synchron Trumpet Ensemble (muted) can complete the new Collection with double savings, combining introductory and bundle discounts. By adding Synchron Brass (muted) to the cart – rather than the individual Single Packs – the bundle discount is applied automatically.
