HK Audio has been at the heart of Europe’s most memorable festivals this year. With COSMO, LINEAR and CONTOUR systems powering performances across Germany, Lithuania and Hungary, 2025 has already shown the versatility and reliability of HK Audio in action. Burbiškis Manor in Lithuania in May 2025 comes alive every Spring with an abundance of colour for the Tulip Blooming Festival and 2025 was no exception. Alongside the dazzling floral displays, a day-long programme of music and culture drew thousands of visitors. Acts including Adomas Vyšniauskas, Ovidijus Vyšniauskas, Jurga Šeduikyte, Martynas Kavaliauskas and The ROOP all performed through a COSMO system, designed to provide consistent coverage across the manor’s gardens.

With C10 modules as the main system, C8s deployed for downfill, outfills and frontfills, and a foundation of CS118 subs powered by Powersoft X8 amplifiers, the result was a soundscape as vibrant as the tulips themselves. “We were delighted with the result - everything felt powerful yet natural and the artists really appreciated the clarity on stage,” said Garsas LT, who managed the event and partnered with HK Audio for the system delivery. The 32nd edition of Blues Festival Schöppingen in June 2025 proved why it has become such a staple in Germany’s live music calendar. Bringing together stars such as Shemekia Copeland, Keziah Jones, GA-20, The Cold Stares and Luke Winslow-King, the weekend celebrated every shade of the blues, from country and southern roots to funk-infused experiments. For the second year running, HK Audio supplied the sound, with a CONTOUR X system anchoring the main stage alongside a cardioid array of CS118 subs, while the more intimate Green Stage was powered by the latest LINEAR 5 MK2 systems. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse lineup, the festival once again showcased how HK Audio’s systems can provide engineers with the versatility and control needed to handle any performance style.

Iron Fest has quickly established itself as one of Europe’s most exciting boutique metal festivals, set against the dramatic backdrop of Lake Ohmbachsee. This year, long-term audio partners SPV Neuschwander turned once again to the COSMO Line Array system, confident in its ability to tackle the site’s asymmetrical terrain and the festival’s demanding schedule. “We had complete trust in the COSMO system,” said Technical Producer Karsten Neuschwander. “It provided powerful, crystal-clear coverage throughout the site, and thanks to its modular design, our load-in was faster and smoother than ever.”

With engineers rotating daily at front of house, the system’s flexibility proved invaluable, offering a consistent foundation for every mix. Vicente Rios Silvestre, HK Audio’s Application Support Engineer and the festival’s system technician, added: “What impressed me most was how quickly engineers could dial in a great sound. COSMO gave everyone a reliable starting point and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.” The festival cemented its growing reputation, with flawless sound helping to create an intimate yet powerful atmosphere.

HK Audio RV Bang Festival

In Balingen, the RV Bang Festival brought together a mix of artists in a high-energy celebration of live music, with HK Audio systems at the centre of the production. A hybrid setup combining COSMO modules with LINEAR 9 and LINEAR 5 MK2 delivered coverage across the main stage, outfills and monitoring. With COSMO C8 arrays handling the heavy lifting at the front, reinforced by CF118 subs and no fewer than 27 LINEAR 9 subwoofers, the low end was deep and punchy. Outfills and frontfills provided seamless extension, while sidefill and monitor systems ensured performers had the same clarity on stage as the audience in the field. The combination of COSMO and LINEAR provided flexibility to adapt to the lineup while keeping everything tight and controlled.

After sixteen years of music, art and activism, Hungary’s Bánkitó Festival took its final bow this summer. For its farewell edition, the organisers chose HK Audio to provide the sound – a fitting tribute to a festival known for its progressive spirit and eclectic programming. Featuring performances from Csaknekedkislány, Carson Coma, 30Y, Co Lee and Sisi, the main stage showcased Hungary’s first and largest COSMO deployment. A mixed array of C10 and C6 modules was fine-tuned in under half an hour, with CS subs anchoring the low end.

“The ease of use is what makes COSMO special,” explained HK Audio’s Karel Noon. “It works out of the box but still gives engineers the control they need.” For Gábor Major of Eurhythmics, who oversaw system integration, the project carried a personal resonance: “I played at this festival years ago, when the stage was tiny, and to now return with such a powerful setup was special. COSMO gave us the coverage we needed without complexity, and the artists loved the sound.” As Bánkitó ended, COSMO ensured its legacy ended on a high note.

HK Audio Dornstetten

In August, the historic streets of Dornstetten came alive with the sounds of the annual City Festival. Prof. Alban & die Heimleuchter headlined an evening of music and celebration in Kirchplatz, supported by HK Audio’s LINEAR 5 MK2 and LINEAR 9 systems. The compact yet powerful setup was delivered in partnership with De Bortoli event technology, ensuring crystal-clear coverage across the bustling town square. As always, the festival was a reminder of the role sound plays in community celebrations - connecting people and amplifying the energy of live performance. Returning to the idyllic lakeside setting of Olganitz, Nachtdigital once again affirmed its cult status in Europe’s electronic music scene with HK Audio taking centre stage. The Seebühne Stage was powered by a comprehensive CONTOUR X system, featuring CX 210 LT mains, C 218 subs in an end-fire array and CX 15 monitors. The system, provided and integrated by Stagehead VT, delivered the clarity and punch required for the festival’s precision-focused programme of DJs and live acts.

Set against the glittering Adriatic coastline, Croatia’s exclusive Island Festival welcomed HK Audio for the very first time in 2025. Having previously trusted other major names in pro audio, the event organisers turned to HK Audio’s LINEAR 5 MK II 308 LTA tops and 118 Sub HPA subs to deliver pristine, high-energy sound across the beachside stages. More details and an exclusive video from the festival will be shared soon.
