KLOTZ AIS MIS 19" SUB Patchboxes

KLOTZ AIS MS48RFPL08M st

As part of the KLOTZ Modular Interface System (MIS) family, the brand-new 19" SUB Patchboxes combine high mechanical durability with reliable signal distribution for professional live, touring and studio applications. The rugged, powder-coated 19" aluminium housing typical of the MIS series is also used for the SUB Patchboxes and is designed to withstand the demands of everyday professional use. The picture above shows the model MS48RFPL08M.

The SUB Patchboxes are available in configurations ranging from 48 to 64 channels. They support both analogue and digital audio signals according to the AES/EBU standard, offering a high degree of flexibility for a wide range of applications. Stagebox systems are connected via four front-mounted RMP female connectors with gold-plated contacts. These are compatible with LK, Tourline, CIRLK and other connectors based on the MIL-C-5015 standard.

The XLR splice OUT features high-quality KLOTZ AIS XLR 3p male connectors, arranged in groups of 8, 12 or 16 channels. Clear colour-coded channel labelling at the XLR and RMP connectors, combined with abrasion-resistant laser-engraved channel numbers directly on the XLR connectors, allows quick and easy identification of signal paths. This ensures a clear overview even in complex setups.

For flexible integration into existing setups, the MIS SUB Patchboxes are available with splice lengths of either 80 cm (MS64RFPL16M080) or 150 cm (MS64RFPL16M150). Effective shielding of each individual cable, a rugged PVC outer jacket and strain relief at the box make the Patchboxes ready for the demanding conditions of everyday live and touring use.

All complete MIS systems are pre-assembled by KLOTZ AIS at its facility in Vilchband/Wittighausen, Germany, and undergo thorough quality testing before delivery. With the new SUB Patchboxes, KLOTZ AIS once again relies on Made in Germany manufacturing quality – ensuring reliable performance on stages and in professional productions worldwide.
