The team captured massive door scrapes, bent a crushed engine hood, and recorded strikes from solid and hollow materials. To deliver the grit required for aggressive sound design, rusty metal parts were dragged, a metal fence was warped, and sheet metal was stressed under load. Heavy iron pieces were submerged under water for resonant scraping, producing signatures rarely heard in commercial libraries.
