How to resolve AdBlock issue? GC Audio Emperor Signature Cartridge
GC Audio announces a new collaboration with acclaimed Polish analog audio manufacturer Looptrotter, resulting in the forthcoming Emperor Signature Cartridge for the GC Audio Inherit modular system. The Emperor Signature Cartridge is a complete channel strip, combining a full-featured microphone/line preamplifier with 0 to 70dB of gain, an instrument DI input, a -20dB pad, polarity inversion, and a two-position high-pass filter at 80Hz or 120Hz, all controlled from the Inherit host rack’s front panel, followed in series by the Looptrotter Emperor Limiter, whose dedicated controls are located directly on the cartridge front panel. Designed to expand the sonic palette of the Inherit platform, the Emperor is a dedicated dynamics processor created to shape the character, energy, and presence of instruments and vocals.
Developed in close collaboration between GC Audio and Looptrotter, the cartridge revisits an original Looptrotter circuit conceived years ago, now refined and reimagined for the Inherit ecosystem. The Inherit system’s swappable cartridge architecture allows engineers to move quickly between different analog colors and processing philosophies within a single premium host unit. This modular approach immediately resonated with Looptrotter, whose design work has long focused on expressive, musical, and creatively inspiring studio tools.
