At its core is a pitch-correction engine that stands shoulder to shoulder with the industry’s most respected names, delivering precision, musicality, and reliability. But Altitude was built to do far more than pitch correction alone, opening the door to entirely new harmonies and vocal soundscapes for both studio productions and the live stage. At the foundation of Altitude lies the solid pitch processing engine that has been developed and fine-tuned for years. It gives you high-quality pitch-correction with formant-aware processing that’s quick and easy. A dedicated processing mode gives zero latency for using Altitude in live environments. The correction feels natural and musical even at extreme settings. Make your lead fatter with one of the two doubler-modes and the widener, or make a hard-hitting shift in the formants for effect.

The magic and joyful feeling playing with harmonies can easily be accomplished by using three smart harmony voices that follow the lead in the right key. The different voices can automatically skip dissonant intervals, so the chords always move musically. Each voice is processed individually, opening up the treatment to a more organic sound. Vibrato, humanizer and auto-formant correction are all available, and optional. The built-in doubler fattens the harmonies further, and together with the widener and individual mix levels, blending them into any mix is quick work.

With the Play module you can perform and arrange your voice like any other instrument, either live controlled from a MIDI keyboard or playing back existing data from the DAW. Attack and release shape the vibe, width and doubler handle the mix, and formant shifting gives you tonal control over every note. Auto-correction is available here too, so the voice stays locked to your intention wherever the music goes.

If you want to elevate your exploration even more, there are three independent modulators, each with up to eight target parameters, brings rhythmic movement and evolving textures to pitch, formants, harmony intervals, pan, volume and more. Each modulator runs at its own fixed rate or locks to your DAW's tempo. For the shape itself, pick from sine, saw or square, or build something custom using the step-based editor with up to 16 steps. Get anything from slow morphing shifts to wild sci-fi textures, and reduce the need for external tools in the chain.

Altitude's vibrato module is designed to feel alive. Each voice carries its own variation in rate and depth, so voices drift in and out of pitch independently, the way real singers do. The fade-in lets the vibrato emerge naturally after a note is held, rather than switching on instantly. Speed and depth range from a lazy, barely perceptible drift all the way to rapid shimmers well beyond what the human voice can do.

A note that works in the melody doesn't always work equally well as for the harmonies. Altitude's scale system lets you disable individual notes for harmony voices independently of the lead, so the harmonies always stay musical regardless of how the melody moves. The scale can also be controlled via MIDI, which makes it well suited for live performance across songs in different keys, or for punching in pitch correction on a single note. Choose from a wide set of preset scales, or build your own with micro-tuning support for when standard tuning isn't enough.
