Baby Audio HyperWarp

Adding to their growing catalog of instruments and effects, Baby Audio presents HyperWarp, a time-bending effect plug-in for creating motion, texture and color. Based on Baby Audio’s advanced granular engine, HyperWarp combines granular signal processing with a powerful graphical time sequencer to let producers manipulate time and timbre in ways never heard before.
HyperWarp lets users draw speed shifts, stutter steps and direction changes to reimagine their audio as glitchy rhythmic sequences or fluid, time-warped motion effects. The incoming signal gets broken down into microsampled grains then reassembled with the sonic imprint of seven different effect profiles. Each profile is a custom configuration of HyperWarp’s deep granular engine, controlled by four curated macro knobs. The result is the ultimate ear candy generator and happy accidents machine that’s perfect for turning any loop or stem into a unique creation. By combining graphical time manipulation with granular processing, HyperWarp gives producers the power to reimagine their audio into glitchy rhythmic chops, or use any input as raw material for granular sound design.
HyperWarp’s seven distinct effect profiles go from clean time manipulation to frantic modulation all the way to extreme lo-fi. Users can easily explore a broad range of granular effects using just eight front panel controls in conjunction with the graph sequencer.
But HyperWarp doesn’t require any knowledge of granular techniques to get started. With a built-in library of preset graph shapes and smart randomization for all parameters, HyperWarp can generate usable new presets at the click of a button. For those looking to experiment, HyperWarp offers powerful features for altering the graph shape, blending wet and dry and interacting with the underlying granular engine. The plug-in includes over 190 custom presets from top producers and sound designers.
HyperWarp will be released on October 6th, 2026, at a price of $99, with an introductory price of $49. It is compatible with all major DAWs for Mac and PC, including Apple Silicon systems.
