Engineered specifically for the modern metal player, the Raven is the harbinger of Celestion’s most aggressive sound yet, combining the brand’s legendary tonal integrity with a groundbreaking lightweight design. The Raven is defined by its ability to deliver the heaviest of modern metal tones, while remaining light as a feather. At the heart of this innovation in a reimagined ceramic magnet assembly. The new-design motor structure massively lowers the speaker's overall weight -- to just 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs.) -- without compromising the huge magnetic forces required to power such a gargantuan tone machine.
Built for devastating power, the 12-inch diameter Raven features a formidable 100W power rating, a 2-inch voice coil and offers 100dB of sensitivity. This combination allows it to handle the most extreme high-gain lead lines and seismic low-end riff-work with ease. Its tonal signature offers a detailed mid-range punch, brooding highs, and a firm, authoritative low end. The treble is meticulously voiced to be articulate without ever becoming brittle or harsh.
