It is fair to say that traditional isolation booths broadly suffer from three major flaws. Firstly, they are almost impossible to move; secondly, their internal sound often requires additional acoustic panels to make them usable; and, thirdly, many of them rely on ‘quiet’ fans that are not really quiet at all - adding noise that ruins recordings.
