The external Analogue Power Amplifier (APA) grants easy access to all controls when the monitors are soffit-mounted. The APA-700 takes the electronics from the A226-MAIN and turns them into a remote amplifier. The 3U 19-inch-rack-compatible unit allows for up to five meters of distance between speaker and electronics through a proprietary connection, which makes it perfect for controlling wall-embedded A226-MAIN in professional studios.
