puffer:fish is fast, fun, and intentionally simple. The plugin features just two controls:

• Puffiness determines how much pressure is applied to the sound. Turn it up and the signal inflates, becoming denser, richer, and more saturated.
• Character offers three sound options. Users select a fish to define the saturation character:
• - Tinyfin delivers a smooth and rich effect, adding warmth to any track.
• - Twitchgill lets users dial in anything from warm to crazy saturation.
• - Spikeskin pushes things harder, adding aggressive distortion.

The pufferfish themselves also act as visual response meters, becoming more inflated and increasingly intense as Puffiness is increased. puffer:fish is designed to encourage experimentation.
