Nomad Factory announces the official release of Blue Tubes v4, a complete modernization of its long-standing Blue Tubes series. Originally introduced more than 25 years ago, Blue Tubes became known for delivering analog-inspired processing with a strong musical character. With version 4, the entire collection has been rebuilt from the ground up to meet current production standards while preserving the sound and workflow that made the series successful.
Blue Tubes v4 includes 19 processors covering equalization, dynamics, modulation, saturation, delay, stereo imaging, and channel processing. The update introduces a redesigned internal audio architecture, improved stability, optimized CPU performance, and full compatibility with modern macOS and Windows systems, including Apple Silicon support. All plug-ins are available in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX formats.
Throughout development, the focus remained on maintaining the series’ vintage character rather than transforming it into a visually complex or graph-heavy environment. The updated interfaces are sharper and fully resizable, with multiple GUI skins available, but the classic knob-based workflow remains intact.
