How to resolve AdBlock issue? SMPTE ST 2110 for Tascam DA-6400
Tascam has announced that its optional IF-ST2110 SMPTE ST 2110 expansion card can now be used with the DA-6400/DA-6400dp, allowing the 64-track recorder/player to be seamlessly integrated into modern IP-based broadcast workflows. The IF-ST2110 was developed to facilitate the transition to networked audio infrastructure for broadcasters of all sizes. It enables the DA-6400 to operate in ST 2110 environments and supports the standards ST 2110-30 and AES67.
With its two expansion slots, the recorder also supports optional MADI and Dante cards, all of which can be used in conjunction with the IF-ST2110. Consequently, the DA-6400 can function as a hybrid recorder, bridging the gap between ST 2110 and Dante/MADI systems while serving as a flexible audio format converter. This makes it the ideal tool for a wide variety of production facilities.
The firmware update v3.20 for the DA-6400/DA-6400dp, which establishes compatibility with the card, is now available on the Tascam Europe website.
