How to resolve AdBlock issue? Tascam Meter Bridge App
Tascam has announced the release of a meter bridge app for its Model 12, Model 16 and Model 24 recording mixers. The app is available as part of a free software and firmware update, and enables large level meters to be displayed directly on a connected computer.
The new meter bridge application was first introduced with the release of the Model 2400 and Studio Bridge, which are both 24-track recorders and USB audio interfaces with MIDI functionality. By updating the firmware and installing the latest v2.20 Settings Panel software, users of the Model 12, Model 16 and Model 24 recording mixers can now also benefit from this long-awaited feature, which provides an enhanced way to monitor channels and tracks.
The meter bridge can be set to display either channel inputs, live inputs, channels returned from a PC or recorded tracks. A Peak Hold feature with selectable hold time is also available. The new firmware for each product and the Model Mixer Settings Panel app can be downloaded from the Tascam Europe website
